I have a fountain pen that I really like. I think it's a pilot Metropolitan. I use an reusable ink cartridge, but I upgraded from the squeeze kind to the twist kind. My favorite ink was Eclat de Saphir by Jacques Herbin
When I was learning Japanese I used a pretty cool brush pen to make my lettering look nicer. I just looked it up. It was a pilot Futayaku double sided med/fine
My daily driver is the pilot G-2 in purple, mainly because it's got nice lines, good ink flow and purple ink, but doesn't look super thin and chicken scratchy like the V5 can sometimes (no shade against the V5, it's also a good pen)
