Honestly it feels like THAT phrase is mostly directed to cishet people :P
It may also be that millennial generation onward has been repeatedly fucked by economic and world events on a scale that's not really comparable to what boomers or Gen X went through

I can say at 30 I'm definitely happier with myself than when i was 20. I'll hit 40 in 5 years. I think all milestones for our gen have been pushed back 10 years. So my 30's felt like what I imagined my 20's would be like. I wish I could skip this tutorial, and this cutscene has been dragging on forever. When do we actually get to play?
