It's interesting to be critiquing two pieces from people of very different skill levels at the same time. It's nice to feel helpful and get to leave plenty of comments and thoughts on the newer writer's piece, but can get kinda tiring, and there's always the nagging voice in the back of my head that's like "They're just writing for fun, you shouldn't be giving so many opinions, you'll make them feel bad" even though they wanted me to critique their piece. But, I can then go to the other piece I'm critiquing and just be looking for typos and anything that feels a bit off structurally, and just be able to go "Hey, this bit is off. It's probably this, but I might be wrong," and just know they get what I mean and where I'm coming from, but it can feel like I'm not being that helpful, so I can then go back to the newer writer's piece and go back to leaving a bunch of in-depth comments again.
It's neat.
