Just put this tiny ascii starfighter at the beginning of your profile to center‑align your text!

:-:
you know you wanna
it'll protect your profile description from being left‑aligned   ( fr )
Like so:

I just put the text from the textbox before immediately after "description" in Edit Profile, and before all my text

Oh and if you want blank lines between lines of text, put a special white character in between like this thin space:

← there's a smol space in here trust me just copypaste it  bloop

...Or just \ I guess, yeh.

Noo I want my text to be left‑aligned even on PC!!

Okay just breach its hull:

:-

Nooooooooo I wanted it RIGHT‑aligned!!!!

Okay.

-:

Noooooooooooooo I want a horizontal line!!!!!!!

idk   experiment with multiple starfighters throughout your profile description and play with whitespace.
my profile doesn't have horizontal lines so I never needed to figure that outt

How?????

idk   google markdown extended syntax  tbh I don't even fully understand.
i think that it's like not </closing> an <␣>element  ␣  ??

Okay????????¿

..yeah that's it maybe with enough messing around one day you too can have a profile this cool:

the coolest profile you've ever seen everyone's eyes deserve to see a profile this cool its even cooler than @blep's (ok trying to understand @blep's profile is where i got the idea for this markdown crime in the first placeeee)

any idea on how to center align images that are using the "! [img] (source)" format in profile info (spaced it out so it doesnt make a broken image icon)? I am bashing my head against a wall to figure it out, nothing has worked!

…….…….…………..i've been thinking about this comment like every other day since the day you sent it to me  and only NOW am i finally replying  but

.….the solution that i came up with, if you look in my profile, is just to manually add some white space on either side of the image, and make the image wider than how it would be on most displays.

the trade-offs here would be:

 • it'd shrink a lot on smaller devices
 • to compensate for ↑↑↑ you may have to make the image a touch big for bigger devices
 • it may be off‑center in devices where the width is bigger than the image you're using
 • not sure how foolproof this is across time and devices and other factors i hadn't considered
 • ..oh, and you'd be limited to images that would look okay with a lot of resizing (like my monochrome sporkles icons)

there are probably some svg crimes that could be done as a solution, too, but i stopped trying to work that out when the above solution worked okay enough for meeee

if you (or anyone) figures anything else out, then please let me know!!!
(really wondering what you decided on in your own profile after all these months, but the images in your profile look broken to me????)

(oh  and  aa  sorry that it took so long for me to get backkkkk 😅😅😅✨)

my profile does it in an evil way.

working on a @styx-os.

platform sec [.....]

I think the takeaway is that the count of 's needs to be balanced? and it needs to be enough spaces so that it exceeds the width of the profile container.

AH  NEAT

your solution as is wouldn't work if you don't want that extra space (so my edits were necessary for my sporkles  i think), but now my mind's brewing all sorts of other evil uses for tables in bios.
but for a more elegant bio like yours, it looks great!

omg i'm super honoured  ty aa.
idk if i'll write another tutorial ever again (this may very well have been my magnum opus of tutorials) but if i do, i'll be sure to consider absolutely letting go again. 😌✨
