This is annold piece I did a long longntime ago for a gallery show in Brooklyn, based on The Seal Of Ryl'yeh by August Derleth.
The story really struck me: it's an Innsmouth story where the main character finds out he's turning into a Deep One pretty much immediately, and spends the rest of the story in this game of cat and mouse with a local woman who understands and is excited for the change.
In the end they go into the ocean together, and the way the story describes them sinking ships and eating sailors together was one of the most romantic things I'd ever read.
Anyway I called it "Fishmonsters in love" because putting thought into titles is for fucking binoclards
