After I get done coloring the next Saturday Tales comic I'm considering setting it aside to work on a more clearly adult intended 80s media themed comic. I really like that weird space of custom/original/bootleg/whatever action figures exist in. Right away that scenes was making comics and "mini-comics included" and it scratches an itch that I've been trying to scratch for a damn long time. I little interest in making/managing action figures (I don't need to put more plastic into the world) but like they say "make the comics you want to read" and I want to read a weirdo throwback neon colored comics that panders to my nostalgia.

We'll see if this goes anywhere. I still have my To Wonder comic that is clearly inspired by the works of Moebius and I have the Merfolk Barbarian comic that is already a bit unhinged. I need to make sure I'm not reinventing comics that I've already made.
