So one of my previous attempts at doing a barbarian comic was making about a bear. I was just going to do a one shot about raiding a tower with a bunch of excessive violence and see where I go from there. The issue was was the same issue I always have. I let the details of the art take forever, which fundamentally isn't wrong, but after years of listening to the advace Jean Giraud and Darwyn Cooke I know I need to move faster. Giraud was famous for his details but strived to minimize the marks he made in his work. Darwyn knew his time with us was limited and focused his art style into something that got the work done quickly.
I never got past that last penciled panel but I'm going to give it another go now that I have a bit more experience under my belt.
