I decided rather than deal with with any traditional family/friend thanksgiving rigmarole I'd purposely tell everyone I was busy and then hide in my workshop yesterday, and it was marvelous!
In addition to finishing off a couple of boxcars, I went from primer to finished model with this lovely ALCO RS-32 diesel, making 3 in the "1946 Citrus" scheme. I have a sister RS32 to this one which I'll do in the striking orange/magenta "Mexico68" scheme soon.
It's feeling like a real railroad more every day, such a fulfilling feeling after years of planning.
