Thinking (as I often do) about one of the most bonkers "arcade games" of all time: "Sega Super Circuit", which allowed players to control camera-mounted RC cars on a giant-ass physical race track for the ultimate (downscaled) IRL racing experience (Source)

Gif of someone playing "Sega Super Circuit". They are sitting in an arcade cabinet and controlling a RC car from a first-person perspective on a TV screen (the car has a camera mounted to it).

Gif of a "Sega Super Circuit" setup. An RC car with a camera mounted to the front of it zooms around a giant (miniature) race track.

Gif of a "Sega Super Circuit" setup. There is a giant (miniature) race track, and a group of people around the perimeter. A bunch of RC cars take off from the "starting line" and immediately collide in on the race track.

I would really love to see this game made today. I know it's impractical but what a fun idea. Individual arcades with the game could make or modify their own tracks...

i love games that have a physical aspect to them, whether that be photosourced textures or FMV or stop motion models or something like this, so this shit is RIGHT up my alley, nice.
