Argh, I really need to pick up this entire series now that my Saturn setup is in a good place (in Japanese, mind, I ain't paying crazy money for English Saga (says the arcade PCB guy)). Usually never been big on these sorts of rail shooters aside from Star Fox 64, but the texture work is too outstanding for me to not properly admire finally... 😩
ohh man yeah Zwei is extremely special. Panzer Dragoon is fine and Orta is uhhh too talkative for my liking but Zwei is a masterpiece. Azel is really amazing too, and yeah I got my JP copy for like $50!
This series was a favorite of my best rpg buds but I never played it when it was in-style. I'm afraid that trying PD now will end up like when I tried Dragon Force: sad and confused. :(
