I remember being in (I think) 6th grade and I found this book at my school's book fair.
It was premised on the idea that making web pages (writing HTML) was really easy and the only things you need are your basic text editor and web browser. The book was filled with illustrations and was super good about instant gratification.
I still think about this book and how it implanted this idea that the web isn't something that is exclusively built by people with ultra-specialized, opaque, jargony tech skills you couldn't understand, but something you can easily build for fun to share with others.
I miss that era and philosophy a lot.
