If Rockstar/TAke2 would dilute the humour, which is for many the backbone of the series, in GTA6 to "be nice" would you still get the game?

Hell no. The GTA4 trilogy already was way too grim despite still going for comedy. And the GTA fandom already is bad at actually understanding the games.
I guess there are several people who don't get the jokes but still think it's funny. A bit like some who watch Monthy Python or even Family Guy =)
At least they get everyone to laugh is a way or another =D
I don't love the humor in GTA. The backbone of the series was like...restaurants on the street called Mister Chin's House of PooPoo Dumplings. Then in 5 every character was this super annoying wacko. I wouldn't mind a more subdued take on American excess and rot.
GTA2 had me with the "JESUS SAVES" broken neon lights that, when broken, spelled "U SAVE"
GTA humour is one of the things that keeps me away from the series, so if they toned it down, I might actually consider giving it more of a chance. But I'm not the target audience, so I don't care that much either way x)
What exactly do you mean by "these types of games"? 😅 If you mean open-world games, then yeah! They're not my favourites, and I usually prefer fantasy/historical settings rather than contemporary for this world style, but I do enjoy them.
GAmes where you steal cars, beat up pedestrians and kill cops in an open world =D

Oh, okay... yeah, I'm not a fan of that kind of game, no lol But if Rockstar toned down the humour, I could give the story a chance. But again, I'm definitely not the target audience x)

HAven't really played GTA since GTA3 but was interested in GTA6 since there's talk about it being set in the 80's, but if they dilute the satire I'm out.
They already censored the newer versions of GTA5. They censore their own games 0_O
Will be interesting to see what they do at least.
