Remember this is not Xbox territory so the "it should have released on Xbox!" argument doesn't count in Japan.
So the Japanese market has changed a good deal the last years, but even FF16 did better than this?
Very curious to see how it sells in the end globally. It has raging reviews, nostalgia factor and everything...

It's not so bad as the first impressions. It's still not a must-have for me but seems like they did fix some of me concerns, mostly in the gameplay department. There are still things that I feel "off" (keeping this spoiler free, so no examples now) but I think this can be a pretty decent game in the long run.
The demo at least got the game bleeping on my radar, but far as much as the FF16 demo got me Hellbent to get the full game.
