SO it was not a huge surprise it happened. We don't have official sales numbers but a lot is hinting at it not selling very well (think the company doing the eye-tracking kinda spilled the beans there).
Yeah sure the positive here is that there will be more games. More is usually better. But on the other hand is this a sign PS has dropped support completely now? I mean there's one single first party VR only game and no news what so fucking ever on anything new from that camp. Perhaps Team Asobi's game will be VR, but might as well be another hybrid title.
No new WipeOut, nor even a port from the PSVR1 version? No more deals for exclusives?
At least I don't need to get a new VR set when I get a GPC. That in itself is some fine news.
I already have a big enough backlog on PSVR2 xD
And my backlog is going CRAZY for this news.
Sony has a huge draught coming they have admitted. Xbox doesn't seem to have anything of interest at all(all the new stuff will take time to develop). And form the rumours, the Switch 2 will release in Q1 25.
Well I get Stellar Blade (can't wait) and still some nice PSVR 2 games (apart from Sony themselves from the looks of things). Fuck! I might really get FF7R2 too. But rest seems to be backlog year. YAY!
