I just got done re-reading this review - in the time it took Ken Penders to finish this book (comprising 30 pages of new content, give or take) I have completed two graphic novels, am currently finishing a third, and have also made at least a dozen short comics.
And for some stupid reason, I still think of myself as the slowest goddamn artist in the world, and, yeah, that's not even remotely true, is it?
So, I also need to pin this to my forehead!
I only write contracts that license certain rights for a certain set time period.
If you license my work you can renew it indefinitely so long as you don't let it lapse and pay on time.
I actually kinda know what I'm doing and keep paper and digital copies of my licenses.
