I use Firefox and Duck Duck Go on mobile since the results using Duck Duck Go tend to be better. Also I can't block adds in the Android version of Chrome so fuck that.

why is it “a significant drop in queries” yet it's “billions of dollars in lost revenues”? why is the lower demand a “drop” yet the lower revenue “lost”? that's kind of rhetorical, but it is important to notice the reporter get this wrong too, and i need to understand why.
also yes of course they are so worried for the user not being able to find a googoo box to type into! they are relying on antipatterns to dissuade choice, right down to the ridiculous ui hurdles of “cookie choice” to keep users from rejecting_legitimate_interest on their partners. ugh their idea of a partnership makes me bleh.
