Shitchost central, also cute stuff.

Just a small soft creature that sleeps with thier blankie. This is my unprofessional personal place here where I repost and generally be silly. How to tell me apart from my art account: here I use "round square" and my art account uses "squircle"!

BLANKET CONTENT WARNING: I will post stuff about my blanket here.

your new court mandated furry gf is peteena, the poodle in a bikini, from hasbro's short lived 1966 doll line peteena: the poodle in a bikini

It looks a little weird but yeah digi-legs could in theory point like that.

sometimes. the artist seemed confused by them and sometimes just tossed a human leg on there, or a reverse-joint. they tried, though, and given this is a toy from 1966, they didn't have many others doing the same

OK but it seems to IMPLY a humanoid knee, but also IMPLY a doggy ankle immediately below it, except that might be just a very high and well-toned calf muscle? They were really very confused by this bit of fairly basic anatomy, weren't they?

At a certain point I think concessions to "realism" needed to be made just for the practicality of this as a fashion doll. They wouldn't want the legs to be too inhuman just because that would require pants to be sewn in a way to accommodate that shape. It's cheaper to just give her normal legs and not have to worry about that. Plus kids would be able to dress her up in clothes from their other dolls too, which makes it an easier sell for parents that they won't have to buy specialized clothes just for this one doll.
