Happy gross colonizer day! Saint Patrick was a scumbag that got rid of the native traditions of Ireland and wasn't even Irish! You should really celebrate being Irish on February 1st as that is Imbolc the day of the goddess Brigid. Also in Irish Catholicism there was Saint Brigid, the first Irish born saint, her feast day is February 1st. Saint Brigid was also a friend of animals, and has a whole legend to do with a fox.
