I have, to some degree, always been writing. If we abstract it a step to storytelling, I have always loved telling stories and imagining adventures.
I suppose you could in a roundabout way you could say genre-wise it was scifi, because as a little kid I LOVED big machines and trains and planes and trucks in that way only little kids seem capable of, and wait hold the fucking phone is that why I love mechs so much???? WAIT HOLD ON
