Oh hello, my mother. Or should I say, adoptive mother, because my biological mother is mysteriously absent. It's probably not a big deal.
Yes, but I can demonstrate the strength of our bond. Look, it is the place where I saw you at age 6 challenging the alien thing that nobody knows what it is.
I remember, I was there. You had left early from your job mining bolognium because father (also adoptive) was in an accident.
He died.
That was bad.
But you were the first to challenge the alien thing that nobody knows what it is and succeed. You didn't even know that was a big deal.
I felt drawn to it, as though through some kind of narrative force.
That's when I realized you were the protagonist. It would have been so great, if it weren't for this damn empire we have to hide it from. I kind of don't think you should hide it though.
I do have the urge to fight the empire, a little bit. It probably has nothing to do with my missing biological mother and some fucked up idea of an inherited rebellious nature. But I have to keep my protagonist abilities secret so you don't get killed (by the empire).
I will definitely keep living so I'm just going to continue telling you that doing protagonist stuff is really cool, and that if the situation came up where you didn't have to protect me anymore for some reason you could think about how much I wanted you to do that stuff. I'm pretty safe unless the empire kills me for some totally unjust reason, which they do a lot.
The five moons (Xoron, Atrillo, Uthraxis, Megan, and Lillithuthiasma) are setting so we had better return to our bio yurt before the sand shredders (which weigh 1000kg each) begin their hunt. They're incredibly strong and deadly and wild but I bet I could be friends with one later.
Yes.
