I’ve thought about this too and my general idea is:
- robot/synth spider-taur
- modularity up the wazoo
- abdomen contains a futuristic combo of a CNC mill, an FDM 3D printer, and an automatic fibre placement machine
- the fibres in question are carbon nanotubes
- most of the time she has loads and loads of cute jumping spider looking drone assistants on her back!
Also, don’t forget jumping and net-casting (or thread-casting) spiders!
