sometime's you're in a group conversation w/ a buncha nerds and you can hear that everyone is masking really hard and is just thinking "I'm doing it!! I'm successfully having a social interaction!! nobody realizes that I'm the weirdo here who doesn't know social rules!!" and nobody in the room is the normal ones having a normal conversation. They're all just saying things they think are the right things to say to Successfully Participate.
