the friend in question had a sci-fi story based around robotic animals and plurality, and since they know that's extremely my ballpark they asked me to give it a read and offer suggestions. they were surprised when after my first pass I said it gave off heavy therian vibes as well.
Naturally, when I dug in for a closer reading and to make my suggestions, I also denoted passages where I was getting those good good theta delta vibes from. early on I made a joke about hitting a cowbell with a stick every time therian feels came up, then just kinda ran with it throughout my notes.
