been trying to get back into the groove by doing more rough and unpolished ass sketches and i liked how this one turned out
just realized i forgot my big floppy dragon ears. eh let's just say there's very tight headset under there
The idea is in whatever mech setting I'm wrecking people's faces in here, neural interfaces for mech piloting exist but have major feedback risks and drawbacks without major cybernetic augmentation, and the benefits are generally considered not worth the extreme risk, so traditional joystick control setups remain dominant
Here, however, is an example of a hybrid system specifically designed for pilots with wings - most control is done via traditional physical interfaces, but there is a partial neural interface setup specifically bound to the wings and hooked up to the mech's flight/maneuvering boosters. Taking advantage of my dragon girl flight instincts to get the benefits of neural interface systems for flying, dodging and aerial maneuvering, while minimizing feedback/neural overload risks by only taking partial neural input
