a pirate crew is shipwrecked, but instead of being on a deserted island, they're in a suburban home. it's never explained how they got there or why they can't just leave, they're just stuck living with this middle class family until someone comes to rescue them. the set is like the house from good luck charlie but there's a giant ship crashed through the wall on one side

And it's a running gag that every new character that meets them is aware they can simply walk out but the pirates never once acknowledge it and get interrupted any time they almost get it
