Idk why but they have this sort of understated charm to them. A bit of nostalgia that lives on today. Definitely a round friend :3
This was the model of aircraft flown and crashlanded in the woods of Quebec, north of Montreal in the only story I know of printed in Creepy Magazine that was deliberately set in Canada, including local placenames and natural landmarks in accurate position and detail that showed both writer and artist were familiar with their narrative environment.
It was also very deliberately a story about werewolves and divine choice, and it was both upbeat and entirely positive, only by bare limits of contextual genera a 'horror story'.
I had thought about my starcat mate as among her interests in engineering and design are medium and light aeroprop crafts, and she was born in the rural inland forests halfway through the breadth and to the south of British Columbia, not far from the eastern foothills of the Canadian Rockies, although she had recently completed her three Engineering and mathematics degrees at Waterloo and moved here to live in Toronto for her first contract employment by the time we met in early 1992.

Neat! :3
I’d love to travel across BC someday, west to east as well as south to north.
