I feel like a fun campaign to run would be a Lancer campaign set in Magic the Gatherings post-invasion Kamigawa. The campaign starts with your party and their mechs, but maybe later you have to go through one of the Omenpaths and encounter a completely different plane, that is likely much less advanced than your home plane. Could be interesting especially when the party has to maintain their mechs!
