So it's basically confirmed at this point my cousin invited my mom and my sisters to his wedding but not me, and my mom is pretty sure she knows why, just as she's got an inkling why most of her step-sister's family isn't talking to her much any more.
She didn't tell them I was trans, save my step-uncle-in-law who is the salt of the earth, but they all found out at some point. My mom has been very supportive of me and is really pissed about the whole thing, and straight up said if I didn't get an invite, she wasn't going.
Yesterday a lady pulled into work, saw me step up to get her scanned in after my female coworker pulled her into the bay, and was like, "Oh shit, two women work here?! That rules!!!!" And if I weren't still riding the high of that I can tell you I'd be in a real bad place mentally rn. Still not doing great, but...gotta take the little things
