In the setting this is loosely in, the company they are supposedly working for in the end really puts the Corpo in Corpo-state. Other corps and govs probably have much different ways of handling paracausal events, but IPS-N 100% would be like "please fill out this paperwork about how your understanding of reality shattered, and we will compensate you according to company policy in 4-6 months"

I'm glad you liked it! I'm very happy with it and the response it's gotten.

1: thank you!

2: listen, SSC and HORUS both think they have a monoply on weird shit™, but IPSN is a business leader. They have to keep up somehow, and if nothing else they like things done by the book.

(I've been kicking around an idea inspired by things like CONTROL and the Southern Reach, and IPSN is the perfect mix of corporate and in a setting full of existential terrors)

That's fair! But also, for every one of these there's ten half-finished stories in drafts, 100 notes that are like 'hey here's an idea for later', and a thousand things that never even make it out of my head. Sometimes it's just a matter of inpsiration and flow lining up in a moment! I may have spent decades working on becoming a writer, but don't sell yourself short! Creating takes a lot of effort, and even if you're only able to create a little at a time, that's a lot farther than most folks get.

Fuck dude I adore this, really good format for existential crisis.
Is this all Lancer related? I recognised IPS-N but haven't read the books yet because I had no opportunity to play a game.

Not a dude, but

It's lancer adjacent. The goat head man mentioned was a tabletop character in a friend's campaign and he's become a recurring problem across the timelines. You might think of it as the main characters getting accidentally dropped into the lancer universe.

Glad you liked it!
