I agree with this a lot more than people would expect, I think every other pepper is more exciting in a dish and it's real easy to make them bland and unappealing
But I will never forget the time I went to the zoo in my hometown and saw an 8 year old girl eating a raw one like an apple. Just absolutely going to town on it, seeds and all. Maybe it was cooked, but it didn't look like it. She understood the bell pepper in ways the rest of us never will.
I spend a lot of time thinking about it. Anyways, what were we talking about?
