Lex: The wooden sword we bought from the ren faire when we were like 14

Seras: Whatever's handy (paw-y?), but given the places she spends time that probably means a wrench or a 3/4in breaker bar

i'm def on team stick, i saw some kind of one of those martial arts demonstrations once from a small group of people at my HS who did it, where the piece is also kinda like almost a dance arts thing because the motions are fluid and lend themselves to it

it was based on staves and i've been impressed by what you can do with a stick ever since

(also the amount of actually serious harm you inflict is largely under your control, whereas there aren't many ways to use a blade seriously that aren't gonna leave someone in a bad way)
