is it known whether or not this is a progesterone-related thing only,? cause i'm not taking prog (only estradiol/spiro) and my doctor has not recommended to me that i should, and i can't really tell if what i experience sometimes really is a trans girl period so like,,,, is this known to happen with transfems who don't take prog o.o
ditto on earlier; we had 'em before prog but it was fairly mild and hard to know if we were experiencing it in the mo'. it was a lot more obvious after prog, tho some friends don't seem to get it even after prog. YMMV!
Definitely can happen on estradiol and spiro alone! In my case I get some breast sensitivity and a bit of constipation followed by suddenly not, but the emotional effects for a few days are pretty amazing, everything dialed up super high.
i keep forgetting i have mine, so this post blindsided me with "oh THAT'S why i've been having a burst of headaches the past couple days" lmao
SAME even two years into 'em it's only like a 75% chance on whether i remember that's what i'm going thru when they happen
ngl, one big reason I've been hesitant to start prog beyond the gender clinic not just giving it to me (sure, order black market, w/e) is my periods already kick my ass as it is and my symptoms are mostly the same as my mom's (read: back aches and intense irritability)
faaair; i think it'd be worth a shot to see how your body reacts to it at least, though that's def understandable. the extra boob growth is kinda overblown anyhow, haven't really noticed much there besides more puffy aerolas (welcomed, but that's about it)
