Recently, I was having dinner with some friends of friends and Amy Schneider came up in conversation. Someone at the table didn't know who she was, and I got to make the intentionally obtuse joke that "She's the Ken Jennings of Jeopardy!" and precisely two people laughed at it, which sometimes is more rewarding than a whole room.
