First contact communications briefly stymied by the fact that one culture's word for "ship" got heuristic-translated to the other culture's word for "library", by way of a false cognate we would translate as "place that takes you other places". Everyone had a good laugh afterward.
This would completely change the meaning of the Ship of Theseus conundrum.
