if handed a random (currently-produced) firearm, how confident are you that you could handle and/or fire it?
I've fired shotguns, rifles, and handguns in the past through Boy Scouts, my confidence is pretty high in anything that's semi-automatic or below, but I've never had to deal with a recoil of automatic so it would probably take me awhile to get the hang of that.
I'm not a big fan of guns and unless things get fucking terrible here quickly I probably won't ever own one, but I am familiar enough with them that I know trigger discipline and how to actually lead a target. I do miss trap shooting but I can think of less expensive/explosive ways to bruise my shoulder and go deaf.
