asynchronous multiplayer game where one player plays a level of Hitman and then sends the completed save to another player, who plays that same level as a private detective trying to piece together the murder from whatever clues were left behind

Sending my 13 Dead End Drive board state to my copy of Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective
the hitman player plays the next level while the investigation is happening and the goal is for the guy playing LA Noire to catch up to the Hitman player and catch him in the act
A single player mirror of Hitman where you investigate over the top killings seems like it might work well too. Could work in a nice horror element of showing you've seen them on multiple occasions.
As much as I hate to say anything nice about David Cage's work, the first couple chapters of Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy do this in adventure game form where you're playing both sides of it, and it's pretty neat.
…genuinely wonder if this is possible with the custom hitman servers lmao
