we simpy explain to the corporations that engird america that the average person can watch infinitely more addicting unpausable shortform video content (and advertising) if they are on public transit than if they are driving a car. twelve months later, the american highway system is a thing of the past and we have trains everywhere

Every bus I go on has at least one person playing TikToks out loud without headphones. More buses = more guys watching TikToks out loud on the bus. And since the bystanders who aren’t watching TikToks will be subjected to them anyway, that’s more people being exposed to the advertisements. Everybody wins!
at a high enough rate of fatalities, you can absolutely have car dependency and shortform video-watching on commutes
