Yeah I think I'm done celebrating my birthday this time of year anymore. It's been a rough fucking weekend and I'm going back to birthday actual (today) and birthday observed (May 29th, when I started HRT in 2018). Neither of my sisters called me today, and they've never missed a birthday, so they've already accepted the later one as the one that matters.
Part of the whole reason I took this weekend off is because I just needed a break, and between the lack of estrogen crisis, the $300 car repair out of nowhere, and getting billed twice on something then dicked around trying to get the double refunded I didn't get any of it. Pretty sure I made both of my partners miserable too, so I'm just writing this one off and we're going to try again in May.
