Jodo Kast was a member of Alliance SpecOps who became a bounty hunter in the time of the Galactic Civil War. Kast wore Mandalorian armor similar to Boba Fett's, while he was not a Mandalorian himself.

Jodo Kast is a pretty hilarious character behind the scenes if you know the story there. The short story is that when the original star wars tabletop RPG published this adventure module Tatooine Manhunt:

and you might think, hey, those all look like the guys that Vader recruits to hunt down Luke! Except if you look closer, they're not. They're all these lookalike guys that were created specifically for the tabletop game so that they could get into a bunch of scrapes (& potentially die!) without screwing too much with canon.

Anyway, they used a couple promotional photos of Boba Fett within the book as illustrations of Jodo Kast. The guy got some fans, and eventually even showed up as a hidden character in the 1997 Star Wars fighting game, Masters of Teras Kasi.

in Legends canon, as the Character bot so helpfully explained, he wore armor similar to Fett's on purpose to jack some of Fett's cred. He was eventually killed by (of course) Boba Fett. rest in peace buddy

P.S. it is my sincere but entirely unfounded belief that Jodo Kast is the inspiration for Cobb Vanth's whole thing with Mandalorian armor in new canon
