The people who make tons of money greeting off embellished marine corps resumes have to spend it on something I guess
search the model name plus "ballistic gel test" to experience mortal terror
This thing is crazy, but I genuinely wonder… if the use case for it is hunting, what’s the upshot of this thing over a proper rifle? Cheaper ammunition, I guess?
Also IDK if this is relevant, but a guy I grew up with back in SC imported a fancy airsoft M4 from Japan back in 2008 or around then, and I swear it was a gas blowback model. You had connect the magazines to a CO2 canister and charge them up before you could use them. Is that the same thing?
Maybe you could use it for varmit hunting (like feral pigs) on your own property inside city limits where discharging a firearm would be prohibited? That's what I'm guessing
Louis and Clark took an air rifle with them on their 1804 expedition. The Girandoni air rifle had a air reservoir that you hand-pumped up to 800 PSI and could then fire dozens of .50 caliber balls at about 500fps before being recharged.
