I DO like when you do these things with your oc's, but I feel like you're always focused on trying to make that one panel in a comic that just hits home how impactful that part of the story is, whereas I'm all about the writing of the dialogue and the story pacing. I want you to infuse CHARACTER into these characters. Motivations, goals, struggles! Not just put them in cool and fucked up cyberpunk situations and call it a day.
Take your in-situ limb-wringing blood transfusion idea for example. That's an AWESOME scenario and I'd love to see it! But what PUT them in that position? Who were they fighting to get so bloody? Why is one of them ok with just destroying themselves to help the other? Are these questions even important to the piece or do you think its better if they remain unanswered?? I want to KNOW more! A picture is worth 1000 words, but 1000 words does not a novel make. That's what I mean when I say I want MORE.
But, at the end of the day, they're YOUR characters not mine, so you play with them how YOU want. I'd never want to make your art feel like a chore just so you can please an audience. I'd be satisfied if you just added a few sentences of context to patreon posts(which you're already pretty good at) or just literally said, "I 'unno, I just thought this'd look cool? YOU come up with context if you want it so bad!"
Tl;dr: love your stuff, but unfortunately I am an endlessly hungry consumer.
(P.s. I wrote too much and feel weird about it now, but I put too much effort into typing this all out to delete it now.)
