I was gonna say EA only ports games that generate recurring revenue to Switch but I guess Plants vs Zombies and the Burnout/NFS remasters are on there too
During my tenure at Popcap, EA's claws were really starting to sink in and at some point they were told to only make games based off Bejeweled or PvZ. We got a PvZ deckbuilder (PvZ heros) out of it, plus another Bejeweled game that tried to be what Candy Crush was. This was also right after they released a F2P mobile Peggle game that sort of went nowhere, so my guess is after that they didn't look too kindly at the IP.
Some other memories
- finding an Insanaquarium arcade cabinet somewhere
- finding the trophy that EA made when they aquired popcap, also in a closet somewhere
- finding a life sized statue of Ms Elizabeth Bioshock and Booker Comstock (or just booker?) in a closet somewhere
