I like to keep Discord muted most of the day, but unmute it for certain things. Specifically, I like to know when someone joins a voice channel when I'm playing a game and can't see Discord, so I unmute it.
Discord does not have a way to quickly do this - instead, I use streamer mode, which you can set a global shortcut to. This mutes all notifications, among other things.
Now that I have my non-numerical username, I noticed that myself and a bunch of my friends had their names cut off like the above. And hey, guess what, when people are identifiable only by their display name, you have to censor that in streamer mode!
Which makes sense! But nobody asked for this change! And there's still no way to set a global shortcut to mute Discord! So I'm stuck with everyone having these stupid looking names, and it drives me crazy!!
Anyway just griping but...god damn...
