I am running an online game jam from July 1st 2024 until September 30th 2024 with the sole purpose of encouraging other game developers (of any level) (and anyone else - the game format is entirely optional) to lean into artsy bullshit as much as possible. To (if they haven't already) read outside game design theory and engineering and into the philosophical and art worlds. To voice frustrations with those worlds too. To act on critical impulse. To get lost in the flow of being an artsy wanker - not out of ridicule of "real" artsy wankers but being that artsy wanker with as much of yourself as you can commit. Join us.

oh my god i physically could not be more excited for something as i am for this. i've had a project i've been denying myself for months because it was 'too pretentious and esoteric' but this is perfect. i'm so glad i found this post, thank you so much for hosting this
