4+ appliances in a trench coat.

  • They/them he/him or he/they, varies

God decided to see if they could put anxiety in a kitchen appliance and It Sure Did Work. Crawled out from behind my parents fridge at the age of Baby and made that everyone else's problem.
.
Autistic 2d and 3d artist who barely makes art, I mostly do sci-fi/fantasy stuff and token images for my D&D characters, all of whom are music references. Planning on eventually doing animations, might do NSFW stuff eventually, but for now I'm just ironing out character designs and also my brain.
.
Current headmates are:
Toaster, they/them
(Kitchen appliance and joke about sci-fi robots being called toasters. More "normal" United States accent, though we can't actually place it that well.)
.
Necron, he/him
(Drop the Exmort. Taken from Vast Error, but coincidentally also 40k. Deeper cowboy accent, drops Gs from words a lot.)
.
Ozzie-25, he/him
(Like Asmodeus Helluva Boss, also second ring/fifth canto of Dante's Divine Comedy. Sounds like Alex Brightman Betelgeuse or Fizzy, but a but softer.)
.
Proto, he/they
(Like Protoman, and also Protogen because furry joke. Quieter, softer, and breathier voice, same accent as Toaster.)

This has been a project that I've been going at for... Checks notes The past 20 days off and on, though none of them actually took more than a day or two, we're not using a virtual table-top so there's no real need for tokens but designing them was fun.

They're all from the same campaign which is separated out into currently 4, maybe 5 or even 6 parties in the future depending on how things go, each going through their own specific arcs and plotlines involving multiple currently ongoing apocalypses and planned apocalypses, I don't know how Dakota manages it but it's great.

Anyways, In order of appearance and with some extra line breaks between to try and make my rambling more legible, we have:

Junya Ishiwatari, a Custom Lineage Paramour Rogue, (subclass from the homebrew Ultimate Adventurer's Handbook by Sterling Vermin Adventuring Co.,) he's an orphan who was just dropped one day at the steps of the Ishiwatari Orphanage, growing up to be a reliable and caring sibling to the other kids being the oldest who currently calls it home, before eventually one of his parents dropped off his little brother unannounced with a rather insulting note, Junya deciding to go and find his parents to beat the shit out of them for abandoning them, especially given the dangers of Naoki being an egg at the time.

He didn't know until they dropped off Naoki but his parents happen to be a red and green dragon who happened to both be polymorphed into humans at the time they had him, Junya being his half brother born from their red dragon mom and a green dragon, Junya being born human-looking since his mother had him while still polymorphed, now beginning to unlock his draconic essence as he searches for them, also finding another older kid from the orphanage during the journey, Asmodea, whose own experiences having been sold off have seriously put into question the safety of what he thought was his home.

He also doesn't know it yet, but he is trans and currently feeling intense gender envy from Asmodea, so that's going to be fun to see how it pans out.

His name is a reference to Junya C. Motomura who did the song Worthless as the Sun Above Clouds for Guilty Gear 2 -Overture-, as well as Daisuke Ishiwatari, chief creative officer for the company as well as lead for the Guilty Gear series. His pose is referenced from an XX mission illustration of I-No.

Ortiz, a ??? College of Tragedy Bard, (mechanically Shadar-kai, with the subclass coming from the Tal'dorei Campaign Setting Reborn by Matthew Mercer and James Haeck,) an enigmatic figure obsessed with nightmares and fear, making art of terror as they travel the lands, though their opinion of their current party is mixed given one's very clear fall into outright dangerous madness and awakening of a very traumatized dinosaur child that Ortiz is very seriously considering killing him over, given that they are also parent to a being of nightmares named Aphemia who wanders the Feywild and feeds on the nightmares of mortals.

Their name is a reference to Karla Ortiz, who did the art for Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and many other cards for Magic the Gathering. Their pose is referenced from Satoru Gojo, specifically one of his poses from the manga against Toji.

Swan, an aarakocra Swashbuckler Rogue and Path of the Comet Barbarian, (Comet being from the homebrew All the Lights in the Sky are Stars book by the Haven discord server,) an ex-mercenary who after falling into a coma and returning to the lake his Druid wife Shauna called home, Aenid's Tear, only to find it corrupted and his love nowhere in sight, found himself untethered from his old life, no orders to follow and no people he loved left to give him direction.

Wandering around for a while and eventually finding a demon about to try and corrupt a lake, he killed it immediately before greeting the rest of the party and being set on a quest to defend the lake from a demon god's forces trying to get access to the primal stone of nature that lay just on the other side in the feywild, held by a wise old ent. Eventually, they decided the best option to deal with it would be to just straight up murder the demon god, a task Swan took to immediately, the group killing the god and stealing one of his glaives before giving it to the king of the Fey and deciding that he'll kill that demon god every time he revives until he's stolen every single one of the remaining 99 glaives in its possession.

They then moved on to deal with a related plot to use the corrupted lake of his love Aenid's Tear to summon the primal evil Leviathan and drown the world, the party making their way in, killing numerous manifestations of the creature, before confronting and killing another demon god who mind controlled Swan and the party Druid Solara to try and kill the others, just barely getting through with only one death that was reversed by using the energy that they'd all gained from killing it and sealing Leviathan back away.

His name is a reference to the song Black Swan by TWRP. His pose is referenced from Testament's Guilty Gear Accent Core EX illustration.

And las but not least, Shauna, a Water Genasi Circle of the Blighted Druid, (Her family are minotaurs, thus being a minotaur herself, and also the Circle of the Blighted is also from TDCSR,) Swan's wife who after losing her love to war and her home to demonic corruption has gone off the deep end, having decided come to the conclusion that if everything in the world will eventually die the world itself should die, now searching for the primal stone of water to drown the world in a sea so turbulent that anything that swims within it would be torn to shreds.

She's a deeply broken women, fated by her own actions to die, unable to let go of the past or accept the present, and when she meets Swan again and sees the ghost of the life she loved things will not be pretty, likely resulting in the blue Chromatic Rose she gave Swan instead of a wedding ring being burnt up by the storm of her own uncontrollable grief.

Her name is a reference to Shauna, the wife of the fandom song artist Phemiec. Her pose is a reference to a pose from Maki Zenin from JJK, again manga stuff, and this time spoilers so I won't say the exact fight.
