You see the thing about emulators is that it proves the vast majority of the tech industry is bullshit. We could literally send books, movies, video games, and a crapton of more important shit to each other for free. We can have billions of copies of the same piece of software for everyone to use, or even to dig into the code and to learn from. And the reason most people seem to think we don’t have this is because we live under capitalism.

I always end up coming back to how the easiest, most moral thing one can do with computers is share all things we've ever made in ways that, if not totally eliminate cost, then at least drastically minimise it.
