this is absolutely gorgeous! the way you utilize colour is a massive inspiration, especially with more complex compositions where the background is equally colourful.

i love the super soft gradiants and how her fur looks almost pearlescant with the sort of idk 'blending' you did (im not an artist i just know and throw words that i feel fit) AND how you did the patterning of her clothes where it feels like that style where the patterns dont move as everything else does, there just a LOT of wonderful creative choices coming together
oh wow, oh, thank you!! this piece is a few years old now, but in a lot of ways it's still a breakout piece for me. i reference it even in my newer work, and there are a lot of things about it that i would like to bring back into my current art...hearing someone break it all down like this, really fuels me up in a good way...i appreciate it! artist or not, our eyes know what they like. gosh. (♡´𓋰`♡)
i actually don't use colors like these that often, the more pastel purple/pink....

thank you! this is one of those pieces where i'm not sure i could replicate it again in quite the same way. it just worked while i was working on it
