doggy was an ms paint drawing of a dog i made that i upscaled to 80000x89600 pixels. i had to index it as an 1-bit image and save it as compressed as possible so it would fit within the upload limit, and even then it took five whole minutes to just save the image. cohost doesn't have a cap on image resolution nor does it thumbnail any images that are posted on the site, so it totally let me upload the image.
just looking at doggy would immediately take up my entire CPU and start making the fans spin, because it took so much power to decode the image and display it. i posted it into the global feed to get as many people as possible to see it. several people reported their browsers crashing if they scrolled past doggy, rendering the global feed inaccessible for them and probably many other users. eventually jae found out and they just deleted the attachment directly themselves.
i'm not sure what the funniest bug i found is tbh. it's either doggy or asks not being ratelimited.
