This is a half-formed thought but the kind of "posting" that's popular on Twitter, the kind of posting people mean when they say things like "Elon Musk wants to be a poster so bad but he can't post", just feels so super fake?  Like it's always trying too hard to be snappy, but there's a certain kind of person who loves it and I get the impression that's what Bluesky seems to be full of

I was going to say I just hate capital-P Posts in that sense, period, but I started thinking about capital-P Tumblr Posts and there are plenty of those I like.  I feel like those are a lot more genuine, a Tumblr post that blows up is usually someone saying something in a funny way that resonates with people whereas a hit tweet is someone trying to be slick and on the beat.  Even tweets where they weren't specifically trying to get it to blow up, it just happened incidentally, they still often feel like their initial goal was to look so clever and get their handful of followers to clap

A capital-C Chost seems to be kind of a mix of the two, they don't feel organic, people are out here trying to Chost, but they're, like, at least more dorky and less snarky than the popular style of Posting on Twitter
