almost all attempts to bridge this gap result in disaster
To know what one is doing is to assume a mastery of the physical realm that does not exist. One knows what they want to achieve, and the limit of their extent of reality influence through their efforts, and all they can do is start there and be, at best, if they’re good at it, systematic.
